EHP® nanotechnology radiators

Heat faster. Run cooler. Cost less.

Most buildings spend 65–80% of their energy on heating. Most of that energy is wasted before it reaches the room.

The problem with conventional radiators

A conventional radiator needs water at 55–80°C to heat a room. Getting water to that temperature — and keeping it there — accounts for the majority of a building's energy bill. The radiator itself is not doing the work. The boiler is doing the work, constantly.

That is the design assumption built into every heating system installed in the last fifty years. It made sense when energy was cheap. It does not make sense now.

What EHP® changes

EHP® (Enhanced Heat Performance) nanotechnology radiators operate at 30–35°C — half the supply temperature of a conventional system. The nanotechnology working fluid inside the radiator transfers heat to the room surface faster and more evenly than water-filled steel. Less energy in. More heat out. Faster.

The result: up to 55% less heating energy for the same level of comfort. Heat-up in seconds, not minutes. A system that has not needed a service call in over 25 years because there is nothing to service.

Rune Holm, HNordic's founding engineer, brought a prototype to his first industry meeting. He plugged it in. Within 60 seconds the radiator surface was at operating temperature — even across the face. The engineer next to him picked up the thermal camera, looked at it, and assumed it was broken.

It was not broken.

Two variants. One technology.

EHP® central heating radiators

Replaces or supplements existing wet radiators. Connects to your current pipework. Operates at 30–35°C — which means your existing boiler or heat pump runs at a fraction of its normal load.

Best for: commercial buildings, apartment blocks, hotels, office retrofits.

Installed by a certified plumber.

EHP® electric radiators

Plug-in. 230V standard socket. No pipework, no plumber, no building works. The same nanotechnology — accessible in any room, any building, any day.

Best for: individual offices, mixed-use buildings, rapid deployment, spaces where pipework modification is not practical.

Anyone can install it.

Who we work with

Property owners and housing associations

You have a heating system that costs more than it should and delivers less than it claims. EHP® radiators reduce that cost structurally — not through behaviour change, not through a smart thermostat, but by changing the physics of how heat is delivered. For housing associations, that means lower service charges and a better energy rating. For commercial owners, a direct improvement in operating income.

Distributors

Most radiator distributors are competing on price for identical products. EHP® is a technically differentiated product in a category where nothing else works this way. The margin case is straightforward. The specification argument is compelling.

HVAC installers

Zero callbacks on the radiator itself. A sealed, non-corrosive working fluid. A system your clients will not need to call you about for 25 years. EHP® is the specification your reputation benefits from.

Architects

A heating system that operates at 30–35°C changes what is possible in low-energy building design. EPBD 2024 compliance by specification. No maintenance access required. No F-gas liability.

Part of the HNordic energy system

EHP® radiators are the heating component of HNordic's integrated energy infrastructure — designed to work alongside cylindrical wind turbines, battery storage, and an AI energy management system. In a full HNordic installation, EHP® radiators reduce the energy the generation and storage system needs to serve, compressing whole-system payback.
